Non-Aligned Narratives: Films from the SİNEMA TRANSTOPIA
A selection of films by Galo E. Rivera and Bethan Hughes, the curatorial duo from the SİNEMA TRANSTOPIA, a cultural platform that combines curated screenings and educational formats. SİNEMA TRANSTOPIA, cinema and open urban space in Berlin, created for dialogue through cinema, and focused on migration, transnational experiences, and solidarity themes.

Re-searching in and through cinematic ethnography
Laurent Van Lancker's program. He is a filmmaker and a professor in Audiovisual Anthropology at Aix-Marseille University, as well as the founder of a research group on "Alternative Narrative Forms in Audiovisual Anthropology" (Chair AMidex ANFAA). The selection includes films by Van Lancker and his former students from academic courses and workshops.

A program by the Center for Urban History dedicated to the phenomenon of amateur filmmaking and its significant importance for cinematic experimentation. The focus is on the films of Orest Bachmaga, an amateur filmmaker and inventor who uses his knowledge and time to capture the biodiversity of his native Vynnyky in the Lviv region.

Ukrainian focus
Works by contemporary Ukrainian artists who experiment with the moving image and reflect on media. The selection includes: a film essay (“image diary”); stop-motion animation combined with real footage and historical photographs; found photos and simulation. The program explores the themes of trauma, remembering, and witnessing.

Program of the Dovzhenko Center
The forum will open with the film "The Eleventh Year" (1928) by Dziga Vertov—the first of three avant-garde films shot by Dziga Vertov in Ukraine at the newly opened Kyiv Film Factory of VUFKU. The event will close with the chronicle-documentary film "Liberation" (1940) by Oleksandr Dovzhenko and Yulia Solntseva.
